Ahahaha! Yeaaah, most pages have one of these "about me" pages and such junks and...here is mine. By popular demand! Actually, no one asked "Who is Ingmar?". -.- But that's ok! On the Englishspeaking side, we like mostly 80's music, such as Belinda Carlisle and Cyndi Lauper and such stuffs. But I listen to the radio too! And on the Spanishspeaking side, I listen to Laura Pausini, Kabah, OV7, and Fey! ·Manga: My favorite manga include Fruits Basket, Fun Fun Factory, W Juliet, Kodomo no Omocha, and so on! I know I'm forgetting a lot >.< ·Books: My favorite book is "The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupery! And currently I'm still trying to finish "The Fellowship of the Ring" by J.R.R. Tolkien. ·Movies: My favorite is definitely "The Neverending Story"! But...just the first one! And then I LOVE "Return to Oz" (the one with Fairuza Balk). And "The Princess Bride". And "The Great Muppet Caper" and yeaah...*stops* ·Videogames: I love the Final Fantasy series (FF6 being my favorite) and Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross and the Suikoden series and such. *nods* And the Lunar series too! ·Anime: My favorite anime is Fruits Basket, followed by Hana Yori Dango, Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou, Kodomo no Omocha, Fushigi Yuugi, The Vision of Escaflowne, Gundam Wing, and Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon. ·Why do you say "we"?: I...have this habit of using "we" instead of "I" sometimes. It started off as a joke when I read my friend's Magic Knight Rayearth graphic novel and saw Princess Aska doing it and then I did it just to annoy my other friend and it kind of stuck. >.< If it annoys you, I apologize, but I don't really do it on the page! ^_________^; o.o ·Is pink your favorite color?: Nope! Actually, it's my second favorite ^_^; But not my favorite. My favorite color is blue. The reason why the page is pink is that...the lil wings. >.< The lil pink wings captivated my heart, so I kinda did the whole layout around them and they stuck. But someday...the page might go blue. ·How did you find out about WJ?: I actually ran into WJ completely by accident. I was looking for information on another manga I had heard was good called "W Pinch!" and so I was surfing around the Anipike, when I saw the title "W Juliet!", and so I thought "Hey, that sounds like a neat title" and I just randomly clicked on one of the webpages listed. It turned out to be Kimmiez's WJ page, and she had a short summary for the story. I read it and I really became interested in it, but it wasn't until I visited Hana's WJ page that I said "Ok, I REALLY want this manga". ·Why did you decide to make this page?: I decided to make a WJ page because at the time there were only like 2 other pages (and there still sort of are ^_^;) and only one of them had any real information about the plot and stuff and translations and such. But the person maintaining it was obviously busy (as we all are), and so I thought having a WJ translations site would be helpful to fans as well as take some of the burden off the current translator, plus it would help me practice (for I wanna be a professional translator), and so I did! And I made characters sections and the other sections and such because there were a lot of characters that weren't covered in the other sites. And then it kind of grew from there ^_^! ·Why did you decide to make these "rants"?: I made the rants for two reasons. The first one was that the design I made the page in had these two tables and the whole right column would be empty unless I had something else to go with the translations, so I decided on rants! And I decided on rants because I know that if I were a visitor of this site, I would (as a translator-hopeful person) want to see/know what the process they went through was like and what they thought as they worked and such. ^_^; I'm sure not many people read the rants but...I actually like to look at them and remember how much I put into the translation, and that way I can appreciate it a little more and not get cocky. ·What are your plans for this site?: I plan to finish the translations and the summaries up until the end of the manga and then make sure that the character profiles are complete. After that, I will probably consider my WJ-related job finished and just leave the site up for reference. I don't plan to make any new sections or anything after that because there are other manga that I want to tackle after this, but hopefully by the time I'm done with this the WJ fandom will have grown to be such that other fans can sort of "carry the WJ torch". ·Why is the page design so simple/unoriginal now?: >.< Because! -.- ^_^; Before it looked pretty because of all the graphics but...it was not organized. And even though my room is a mess, I like my webpages to be prettily organized. But there was a problem... My computer is not powerful. And because of this, I can't put any powerful graphics programs on it and I feel bad bugging my friends with powerful graphic programs for stuff all the time, so I said "Screw it all in a nonliteral way!" and one day I went and made my own graphics with my own crappy graphics program. And much to my surprise...it came out looking semi-decent! That is when I realized "this is simple enough for me and looks nice/organized enough and by now I am so jaded towards the entire matter that I shall use this!". And so I did! And luckily, everyone has liked it thus far. Yeaah, I know it's a lot of pink o.o but beaar with it! Phew! I hope that sort of answered any questions you guys might have had about me! Eheeee. Back
